What do ICT Quality Assurance Engineers do?

The task of an ICT Quality Assurance Engineer is to design procedures and methods to support the development, maintenance, and execution of technical quality assurance programs and resources. This includes analyzing, evaluating and resolving system and performance issues, and testing system functionality, reliability, and integration.


  1. Planning, organizing, and conducting quality audit inspections and reviewing procedures, information, and documents
  2. Identifying trends and potential issues to ensure that standards and procedures are being followed
  3. Recommending corrective actions and monitoring and auditing processes and procedures to ensure compliance with requirements
  4. Communicating with management and customers to ensure understanding and adherence to policies, procedures, and quality control issues and activities
  5. Developing, delivering, and disseminating expert guidance and training on application software and operating procedures
  6. Analyzing, evaluating, and diagnosing technical issues and problems, such as setting up, maintaining, updating, and configuring PCs, software, hardware, printers, the Internet, email, databases, operating systems, and security systems
  7. Testing, identifying, and diagnosing system issues, and programming code in accordance with established testing protocols, guidelines, and quality standards to ensure that systems meet requirements
  8. Conducting assessments and analysis of company infrastructure designs and recommending current and future hardware and technical solutions
  9. Creating and maintaining technical documents such as operating, instructional and procedural manuals, technical notes, and maintenance inventory systems.

English Requirement

  1. IELTS score of minimum 6  (L, R, W), 7 in speaking and 7 overall;
  2. OET score with a minimum grade of B in all sections;
  3. TOEFL iBT with a minimum score (L:12, R:13, W:21, S:23, and overall L93);
  4. PTE Academic with a minimum score of 50 (L, R, W), 65 in speaking, and 65 overall

  • The United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand, the United States, and Ireland will not be allowed to take the IELTS or OET.
