Skill Requirement

The majority of the jobs that fall under this unit group require a skill level that is equivalent to a bachelor’s degree or a higher level of education to be considered for employment. The requirement of at least five years of experience in the relevant field and/or vendor certification can be waived in favor of a formal qualification. In certain circumstances, in addition to the required formal qualification, relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may also be necessary (ANZSCO Skill Level 1).

What does a Developer Programmer do?

Developer Programmer Develop, test, and maintain the software programs for the computer. They are also responsible for determining the needs of computer users as part of a group effort, coming up with methods to meet these requirements, and translating these concepts into a set of guidelines, or a program, that a computer is able to understand. Developer Programmer Create and manage computer code in order to meet system requirements, system designs, and technical criteria in accordance with quality standards set by developer programmers. In addition to this, they construct, validate, and examine program implementations.

  5. The creation, modification, and ongoing maintenance of operating procedures, documentation for end users, and technical systems
  6. Make suggestions, offer feedback, and share your experience regarding the design of plans and methods for software design operations, such as financial estimation and costing for software acquisitions and enhancements.

English Requirement

  1. IELTS score of minimum 6  (L, R, W), 7 in speaking and 7 overall;
  2. OET score with a minimum grade of B in all sections;
  3. TOEFL iBT with a minimum score (L:12, R:13, W:21, S:23, and overall L93);
  4. PTE Academic with a minimum score of 50 (L, R, W), 65 in speaking, and 65 overall
